This is done by starting Public or Private conversations, and then inviting Mentors or Members to participate in the conversation as relevant. The conversations could be on any aspect of business.

Advice on MentorSquare is offered to you by Mentors who have been very carefully selected and invited into our Mentor Panel, considering their background, expertise and experience. MentorSquare is a forum to allow interactions between Mentors and the Member community on our specially-designed website. The interactions we have in mind are not ideally face-to-face in the initial stages. As the questions and needs become more strategic, we recommend face-to-face meetings to take full advantage of the Mentors’ expertise. This arrangement would be between you and the Mentor, independent of MentorSquare.

Mentors join the Mentor Panel on MentorSquare by Invitation only. Advice would have been given by the Mentors considering the issues on hand and current understanding of what has been communicated by the Member. It is finally left to Members, depending on the specific situation and circumstances, to follow the advice in part or full. Since the number of questions or interactions is in no way limited, we also encourage our members to reach out to multiple Mentors who may be able to add value and provide different perspectives.

Time taken for suitable responses can vary depending upon the question asked and the level of detail that the member is looking for. MentorSquare will actively and continuously interact with Mentors to ensure that replies come in a timely manner. In most cases, we expect that replies will come within 48 hours.

You can expect a first response within 48 hours. If you invite many Mentors it is not a given that all Mentors will make a comment. When you receive a great piece of advice from some Mentors, other Mentors in that conversation may not have anything new to add. If you insist on any one particular Mentor’s opinion, ask him or her directly again. In other cases, the Mentors you invite to join a conversation might not necessarily be specialists in that particular area, and in this case, they will inform you.

You can address all business related issues and talk to our Mentors about anything that relates to your business. Anything that will increase your revenue - from Marketing to New Market Entry, from Finance to Sales Improvement. This is on the Business Level. You can go deeper down and ask on the Operational Level. We also have competence on this level. When you go deep down on the Technology Level, you may find less Mentors specialized in that particular technology dimension. However, we will go out of our way and mobilize our collective knowledge to provide you with satisfactory response and advice.

MentorSquare has a rich Knowledge Library consisting of business and management literature, tutorials, business analyses, virtual seminars and more. The content itself will enormously help Members appreciate the business issues they face and help frame their conversations with Mentors. You will also find MentorSquare Insights - a forum with practical insights and experiences from Mentors. MentorSquare is also a place to connect with other members and share business opportunities.

When a conversation is posted as a ‘Private’ conversation, it is shown only to that Member and the Mentor to whom it is addressed. The responses as well are shown only to the Member who has posted the query. This is a guarantee that is given by the MentorSquare platform, and ensures privacy to ask more strategic questions to known Mentors confidently.

Yes, that is possible. MentorSquare is designed to facilitate such interactions. We recommend that such partnerships are taken offline. MentorSquare cannot be the judge of whether a partnership is appropriate or not.

Other services like web-based seminars and lectures by well-known management professionals are already being offered. There are also Breakfast meetings organized in various cities, where a Mentor speaks on a topic of his expertise, these are also occasions for networking with Mentors and Members.
